I went skydiving (pictures coming as soon as my PC is up and running) for my birthday and 10 year remission- and it was awesome! I expected to be really scared, especially right before I jumped from the plane - however, I was really very composed and calm throughout the whole thing. Even when I crash-landed (my landing wasn't as pretty as I had hoped), my heart wasn't even racing at all. I was really surprised at my reaction to this experience.

But then when I think back on some of the things I've experienced in my life, I realize that I had faced much more scary things - and that perhaps had prepared me for this jump.

It would be really cool if we had an AD day at the dropzone, perhaps in the spring time. Who would like to go skydiving in the spring with me? :D

Luck you! I want to try skydiving. I bet it's blast time! I love go HEIGHT as flying! I am glad that you have a great experience. :)

I am glad you had a great experience on your birthday, DeafBajaGal! :) Would I go skydiving? I would probably consider doing it if it is in the open space with nothing such as fences, houses, in the way. :)

Wow, sounds like you had a fabulous time!

I'd LOVE to try skydiving.

Now to get some mates together... and a plane ;D

Oooh, This is awesome. I'm glad you had an exhilarating experience doing the skydiving!

How did that make you feel as a person after you have experienced it? I'm quite curious to see what you have to say about this! :)

OH lord no, I couldn't deal with skydiving, that is not in my game plan for life :D when I'm 80 maybe and have nothing to lose, maybe.

I'm glad you had a great time, deafbahagal! :)

Even though I'm totally blind and wouldn't be able to see the ground underneath me, I don't think I'd have enough courage to go skydiving. :Ohno:

Thanks guys, now I had dream of falling from sky last night. I woke up shaking :ty:

I'd love to go skydiving one day!! :D
Cool, bama, that you did this!

You could always do a tandem skydive...but Im with you- NOT 4 ME :)

:)

That's true hohDougRN, but I'm chicken. :laugh2:

Ick! I'm with you the both of you! There's not enough anxiety meds on the PLANET for me to consider jumping out of a plane; even IF I was able-bodied and could do it, NO WAY!

I would be more than happy to keep my feet on the ground!

I have a major fear of heights.

But I think it is awesome gal!

LOL! You look like you were havin' fun!

I always wanted to try skydiving, but I'm really a strong believer in one of my life's quotes:

"If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving isn't for you."

Enjoyed the pics! Thanks!
