Do you do spring cleaning? such as washing windows, cleaning blinds and drapes, cleaning kitchen cupboards, cleaning the computers and taking out summer clothes getting ready for spring/summer or etc...

I usual do spring cleaning, because when the sun comes out it shines in my home it makes my home more cozy, cleaner and organizing  What about you?

<---is a clean freak here LOL...

Every spring, I usually clean my children's toy boxes, going up the attic and bring down my children's summer clothes ( only if they outgrow the ones they already have in their room )...

I clean all the windows ( now I have Roadrunner to do that job for me :ily: ) , wash curtains, wash walls ( by removing ALL of the itsy bitsy spider webs :Ohno: )...

We also clean out the garage, patio furniture and etc....

Will cleaned it out whole rooms and make sure everything grooming as well.. when spring arrives.

I never really bother doing "Spring Cleaning". I clean up whenever I can and whenever I'm free. ;)

I prefer to clean every month if possible. Helps to keep the clutter down and to throw away all the unnecessary stuff. Wash curtains, dust behind and under furnitures, etc... To me it is a breeze because I am in the cleaning profession for the time being. People tend to think it is too much work, but I am like no, it's not! Heh... Speaking of cleaning, I will need to vacuum some today! :P

Mm Im another clean freak too!

Usually once or twice a year I go through this stage of sorting out my things and see what things I don't need to try and avoid clutter, but it varies when I do it.

Sometimes I do it in the summer or before christmas! Sometimes I dont need to spring clean at all cos theres nothing to sort out!! hehe!

when i do live in a place... yea i alway got this weird spring cleaning urge in me o.O probably cuz my mom used to do that every year.

Yes, I do spring cleaning in the house, and the yard, during the college spring break.

It is already like spring here. The daffodils have been blooming for a couple weeks, the forsythia are blooming, all the birds are back, azaleas are starting to bloom, some trees are flowering, such as magnolias and purple plums. The only negative about spring is all the yellow pollen covering everything.

How can I do the spring cleaning since it still snowing out there? GRRRRRRRR when will it ever stop snowing? I feel like a longggggggggggggggggggggg winter and I hate it.

Also if you take about an hour out of each month to sort things out and get rid of them, it will lessen the job for "spring cleaning." For example, don't keep your bills in envelopes. Take them out of envelopes and put in a file/folder, throw the envelope away. If you take something out, make the time to put them back in its right place. It only takes seconds or minutes but makes enormous difference!

My hubby and I share our housework.

We clean every week and also every month.

I like to change net curtains in every 3 months after clean the windows.

Spring cleaning: twice a year is attic and also check children´s toy and clothes to pack for donation.

(we dont have carpets in our house but few rugs).

Topic off:
I want to clean outside of window but we cant because there´re still snow :-o The 7 inches snow comes suddenly today. We dont have spring flowers at our garden but white snow :tears:

Should we call it "Happy white Easter" ?

Most of my "spring" cleaning is just changing things from winter mode to spring/summer mode. That is, I clean out the woodstove and store the fire tools, then I set potted plants on the hearth. I switch all the heavy dark green accessories (linens, pillows, kitchen rugs, etc.) to light-weight light blue. I take the electric blanket off the bed, put away winter clothes, and bring out summer clothes. Outdoors, I set plants on the front porch, plant annual flowers, and set out fresh mulch.

I don't spring clean. It goes against my religion. I belong to the cult of dirt lovers.

Er....I mean.....

I don't spring clean. I clean the normal things and then when I'm bored and have time, I'll randomly clean out things like closets or scrub all the baseboards and floors or deep clean the carpets. I tend to clean in spurts
