Silver Lake
Such gentility that I see,
Wavering silvery waters like into sea,
Reflecting sun rays that sing an ode,
Sparkling like into fireworks that explode,
My eyes awed with distraught,
And my emotion overwrought,
With such Silver Lake that is hypnotic,
That brings our memories so erotic,
And our romantic explosives so beautiful,
That we found them so wonderful,
As I stare at sparkling reflection,
That reminded us of our platonic connection,
O! How I missed our sweet memoires,
As Silver Lake refreshes our intense desires!

Strikingly vivid. I certainly wish I could write poems like that. Have you thought of submitting those to a poetry contest or something like that?

It has been posted in poetry.com and I was sent a mail of invinitation that I was on top 100 or something. I didn't select to go.
