Hard to find sign for "Remorse" on site.

Is it the same sign as "Pity"?.

Sentence: he/she show no remorse.

For "REMORSE" I would use "FEEL+SORRY" or possibly just "SORRY" (or depending on the context "LOOK-BACK to past" + FEEL + SORRY might also be appropriate)

"PITY" is not the same concept as "REMORSE" so I wouldn't use the same Sign for both concepts.

"PITY" means a person feels sorry TOWARDS some thing/person/situation (without guilt).
Example: Some hearing people feel pity (feel emotional sadness) towards deaf people because some hearing people view deafness as a tragedy.

"REMORSE" means a person feels sorry/guilt about DOING something (with guilt)

Example: The man convicted of murder stood in the court room and felt no remorse (meaning he doesn't feel sorry or guilty) about killing the three young children.

I hope that helps ??

Thanks Anji for your help. Appreciate it.

The example you wrote is right.

I'm assuming you are referring to the "remorse" example??

It was 100% hypothetical of course.
I wanted to choose an example where the concept and "Feeling" of what "remorse" is (versus pity), would be very clear ... I'm assuming that I "hit the nail on the head"?

Hypothetically - I hope he was locked in a dark room and forgotten about ...
