It is hard to find and turn on the TTY mode for the SK so you can use the PVCO or (future) Pocketcomm. My friend has a SK but I dont know how to turn on the TTY mode so we can use the PVCO with it.

For PVCO (Pocket Voice Carrying Over) with built-in Headset Connector, it will explain you very clear.

Of course, there is no need for TTY mode on sidekick.

Why not use the SideKick directly as a TTY?

I think you can do that already by pointing your SideKick to www.iptty.com .... You would have no need for PVCO this way, unless you wanted the other party to hear your voice rather than a relay operator's...

it cost about $29.99 for 3 months to use that kind service. Will you? It seem too much to spend on data plan and tty service. Where is all in one for one price? think about it.
