Showdown at Gallaudet!

:rolleyes: move on shall we we're here for education. time for them to accept that galludet has to deal with some serious cleaning up, and get with the educational aspect in life not the repuation in life! DPN was the best movement, BPN totally egoism reeking of nothing but time on thier hands. so what if you don't like JF, we don't like Bush either but he was voted in, so wait until she retires then declare the guidlines and let the SBG do the hiring and firing. thats IMO

then again it'll be ingored like it usually does...
 
Nobody is ignoring what you're saying, javapride. There's nothing against disagreeing nor agreeing to disagree either.

Ryan Commerson is an amazing guy who has a lot of heart and follows through with what he believes in. I trust him, and his involvement in this speaks volumes to me. I watched all vids, and he has a good point about not stopping the protest and seeing the bigger picture - it is a SOCIAL issue in progress here. History in making. Good example of systembusters. I think they just need to resolve the bumps within the structure of FSSA and go from there as an united front free of hypocrisy so they can be very good for people to look up to. There are also other organizations such as Black Deaf Student Union, Asian Pacific Associations, etc etc doing all they can do, too. What an amazing human effort to keep each other honest and on track of progress!

Besides, ol' Jane needs to go.. and it is suspicious enough that she won't allow the process to be restarted even though she could be a candidate again, because I think if it is restarted she fears she won't get such an ample opportunity of being voted again. I have little faith in her leadership as a result of a personal experience with her and she is great at being whoever she can be to fit in. I don't trust her, period. Never did since her time in Hawaii in 1992. Reminds me a bit of Kai Winn from Star Trek Deep Space 9.
 
Can someone please summarize the point of redoing the protest even JF still becomes a prez?
 
I thought this was dead? I've heard nothing about it at Gallaudet since classes started. What were they waiting for?
 
I bet that Gallaudet will lose alot of students.
 
I'm glad I decided not to go to college at Gally...too much bullshit going on and I don't have the time for that kind of bullshit.
 
Same. If i went out of state I would have chosen RIT though. University of Alabama in Huntsville!

Maybe they just want to play hooky with the classes. So they felt that protesting would be a good front.
 
Ridorlive is a hate website and I caught it red handed starting a hate campaign this AM against the Calif Assn Deaf President, Richard Ray. I countered it with a rebuttal at the ocdac newsletter and then the post was removed from that particular website afterwards.

None at all. there is not even any hate mongering toward Ricky Taylor's site on my video.

Am working at Gallaudet as SRA and saw 2 tents already set up at 8 am, so tents must be removed by 11 pm, but I saw them still at 'Tent City'... If u want to know whats up with tent city and all bs, let me know or check Ridor Live's blog!
