Hey everyone, I really need some advices of yours. I have a lot of imaginations of films, mostly, MARVEL film. First of all, I'd like to make trilogy films, "Planet Hulk", "World War Hulk", and "Red Hulk" (not make sure about this title.) So, but I prefer first of all, when those people make films about "The Avengers", and "The First Avenger: Captain America." When after that, I might make a film called, "Civil War" someday in the future, if Marvel have agree with it. I know some of people said, "It ain't gonna happen in the future." And but I can make that happen, I promise you...or you decide to want me to become comic artist? It's up to y'all. :fingersx:

it is up to you.. we cant tell you what to do.. but i can tell you this.. just follow your heart and do what you really would LOVE to do it.. if you want to do it.. BY any mean GO ahead and DO IT.. :)

Being a filmmaker is quite a challenge for a Deaf person. I don't see any Deaf filmmakers enter into Hollywood like Steven Speilberg, George Lucas, etc. There are several Deaf filmmakers around US, but not that famous like those big name filmmakers in Hollywood. Only they are well known to Deaf community.

Comic artist is also a challenge as well because there are several comic artists around are working hard to make people laugh at their jokes. It is not easy.

Perhaps contact Deaf community about media, etc. :dunno2:

Even though, I love to be writer for either in filmmaker or comic artist. Writer is my totally talent, really.

There is always room for more creative artists in film making... and it is up to you! Just link up with like minded people to help you out there.
Also, Is this going to be in ASL ? If so, please remember o put CC or subtitles for the HOH that are still learning ASL. Thanks and I will go see your movie....good luck!

Sure, you have my word, I'd looking forward to it.

If it's something that's already done (like by Marvel), then you should join their company and help them come up with new ideas for future storylines. :)

I am an artist as well and I'm planning to become an concept artist for videogames so I have to go thru art school for that which I am planning to do so this year.

Do what your heart leads to.

Peter Wolf comes to mind.

As for the question, I would encourage you to pursue your dreams. Both fields are highly competitive, and very difficult to do.

At a glance, breaking entry into the comics field would be easier for a Deaf person to do; just showcase your work and production. Everything's pretty much done over the internet and can be done from home or glorified home studio.

I got out of the comics biz well over a decade ago, so what do I know? :) (I used to be a collector and fan.) Wish you luck.

If you want to be a deaf film maker to show your comedy or something like that... I suggest you to go to this website called... DeafVIDEO.TV - Deaf Videos and Vlogs and make yourself as a Vlog there to express your feelings, opinions, teasing, and etc.... That would be a start for you to becoming a better film maker. IMO

listen to your heart then it will follow.

may the force be with you.
