Did you know that I do not need to tell hearing friends I was deaf in first place? you can guess if there any good reason...when i went to prep school, few i know those people are unique but I did not need to ask them because I respect them wishes.

Same as you told me before because you grew up in oral then later, learn ASL when you are in college, right? Is correct that they knew you are deaf until last but they seem talk to you at first place most time.

that's not same thing. I'm talking about conversation. You are not supposed to post it in thread if you had a private conversation with sheila.
 
whoa whoa whoa. I'm just catching up on AD and I see this. Just to let you know, Matajan hasn't PM'ed me or anything like that. Also, most of my friends are hearing so I pretty much speak all the time.

Did you know you do not have you tell you deaf until they ask if u deaf or last?

Same as I did, should be normal but sometime I was sad if I was deaf who can't hear.

Many friends talk to me through voice.

My ex girlfriend left me when we met at prep school where no interpeters....cuz of said communication issue like she can't sign every day for me what she can say.
