It is new. It was just released on TV this week.

If you can, watch the original Sharknado before you watch Sharknado 2. It will make more sense that way. Sharknado 2 is a sequel to the original movie, and it uses the same lead characters.

It's a ridiculous funny movie but be warned there is a lot of blood and guts in it.

I think the movie has the same kind of comedy as the movie, "Airplane" from the early 80s. What kind of comedy is that?

The kids loved it and all 4 of us had a great time laughing so hard at it so it was worth the quality time together. It really was so silly but it was good to laugh like that.
