People who are my friend on Facebook knows that I always share Rottweilers in need of home. I wonder if I want to continue doing that. There are more things you would do than simply sharing. I figure that people who are my friends in animal rescue are aware about how many animals need home. They're likely to be involved in rescue in one way or another. Those who are not into animals would not want to be reminded about how many animals need home.

I'm saying that my time would be more valuable than just sharing. For example, I would offer to actually match people looking to adopt with what they are looking for.

But maybe one day you share and one of your friends knows someone who is looking for a dog. They see your post and think "Hey, Joe's dog died and he's sad - maybe he wants to adopt a rescue..."

I don't know, maybe not. Maybe you could post on FB the question. Ask your friends if they think you should keep sharing. See if they think there's a chance of a positive result.

I was just referring to the fact that I would run into people looking for certain types of dogs if I volunteered at shelter. I just figured my time would be better spent volunteering as opposed to sharing animals on my Facebook page.
