Not all groups suck in a pity way of course. Some groups are exponentially well off but you need-th time to find these groups of course!
I tend to stare away from groups whom such attitudes and demeanors are of that which include drama so I personally, stare towards groups ( and ordinary life since we're on the topic ) to good people, rather than bad people.
Just search. It's big out there!
