Hi! I just found AllDeaf.com and wanted to be a part of it. I am hearing, but I took 2 years of ASL in college and my youngest son (age 2) has a seizure disorder that's stunted his speech. He can hear, but we're teaching him sign language so he can communicate with us.

So I thought it would be fun to create a fingerspelling app for the iPhone! It just came out about 10 days ago, and while over 100 people have bought it, nobody has left a review. I would like to improve it and make it something people enjoy using and find helpful as they strive to learn the ASL alphabet. It's only $1.99 and I was wondering if anyone here has used it and had some feedback for me? You can also see screenshots at Fingerspell: Fingerspelling reference and games for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Thanks!

:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. I don't know about fingerspell on the iPod. I have never own one and don't need one for myself. I might be an old elder with this new technology but I sure like computer very much. I have been struggling with this computer for two years and I am doing almost like a pro, so it is fun. If you are interest in Deaf Culture along with ASL, then you are welcome to join us. I hope you enjoy reading and posting all the threads here. Have fun with us. See you around.

Welcome to AllDeaf!!
Learning fingerspelling was easiest for me on the computer. I am now moving on to ASL both on the computer, books and a friend. Here at AD they are very helpful if you don't know how to a specific sign is done, but they are also good at letting you know about deaf culture. Hope you learn a lot here and I think it's great what you are doing for your son.

it would be nice if there is ASL memory plug in head to upload that something to learn already. heh
