A scientist states a fact. Another scientist states that the first one is wrong. The universe, global weather change, food that is harmful, life on other planets, etc.

Researchers say this action or that action is harmful to you or others or that it will doom us all. Really?

I will not fret over anything that I personally cannot control in my day-to-day life.

Really, it only goes to show how much scientist really know especially when it comes to things that are in space.

Seems a non issue. Science is based on a method. Theories are not facts. They are theories. When new data demonstartes a need for new models and theoeies then they are developed. And old ones that did not stand the test of time or reality are tossed. So on and so forth.
I doubt any scientist held any theories dealing with black holes as a fact.
Real solid facts in science are few. We have theories. We have paradigms. They shift and change.
