Science Forum, please? I realized that we ought to have it when I want to tell you guys about the microbots that will travel in the bloodstream.
Are we going to talk about nano-bots?
Or just requesting a science forum?
I would absolutely be interested in a science forum. It is one of my favorite subjects.
Teenagers demand their Teen category!
The deafblind demand the blind category!
If we pretend say Alex was here and he said, "I can only make one section right now" (note that creating a subsection isn't even that hard to do), what would you go to say that the Science section deserves a spot over the other two?
I personally don't mind a science category, I often am very into physics/chem/bio and that sort of junk myself.
Easy, there are about five or six deaf blind people and even less teenagers.
Plus probably deaf blind people and teenagers could also be interested in science.
Of the three you mentioned, science has the most universal appeal.
There has been requests for members wanting a Teen subforum, A deaf/blind subforum, science forum and also re-opening the religion forum...
There's been concerns about it because just how exactly will these forums be actively in use? I know there's a lot of threads/issues that are related to these aspects but however, in retrospect - It wouldn't be fair to choose just one group to have a forum dedicated to it.
If Alex decides to open a Science Forum, it will also open another door for another forum to come in light. It may happen or it may not happen.
So, in the mean time - I'd suggest for any one of you who wishes to open a specific forum to assign it to the AllDeaf group just so that way members can join in that group to have a discussion with whatever is related to these issues.
Just my 2 cents.
I don't think I really understand you. Here is what I think what you mean: You mean that Teen and Deaf/Blind forums are special interest groups and you don't want any special interest groups. This AD already have CI which in my opinion is a special interest group. Science is a broad area and it is a requirement in schools.
