I don't fill out forms very often, so it's no big deal. 
I can type/keyboard very fast, too, but I also like to write notes. It depends on where I'm at and what I'm doing. If I'm taking notes in church or at a workshop or during a meeting, I prefer to write my notes. It's much quicker and I can easily add on or edit them. Many times I just add my handwritten notes to the printed handouts, so I can insert them directly where I want them.
