Sorry, I should of reread the post. It was your post that talked about the maiming clause and the possibility that you could be in legal trouble if you maimed your attacker. I thought my statement was rather clear as to state " that you would be better off to have legal trouble than be dead from the attack. From the law enforcement people I have known they have said if you are in fear of your life, you are in the clear legally, so hopefully the same would be in effect in GA and SC, but who knows?
