Maybe it is where I am from that has jaded my view... but so many of the woman's self defense courses or those rape prevention things are ridiculous.... proper training is advisable...yet, men and women can take classes and will still freeze up when faced with a fight or flight situation.. more so in a life or death one.... or find that their training does not equate to a hill of beans...especially against an armed thug...
You have the right of it with the thinking of what ifs and the like...
Although I wonder... in SC and Georgia there is a line of self defense and maiming... I wonder if this would fall under the lines of maiming and result in being in legal trouble.
