I agree with u which is why i dont understand why the hearing families of these deaf kids express a sense of loss because their children couldnt "hear" them saying those words. I tell them..there is sign language and it is just as good if not better but that's when I got into that argument so it makes me  because sing language is not gonna make the children lives doomed.
