Greets everyone,

My username is gohabsgo and I am of hearing,
my wife is deaf and we have been together for almost
10 years now and have a beautiful daughter together.
We are in the 40's and looking forward to meeting new
friends.

Also, we are from the Montreal area in Quebec, home of my
favorite hockey team the Montreal Canadiens amongst other
things. Montreal is a very nice city, lots to do and visit in and
around the city. I have learned LSQ and know very little ASL,
my apologies.

I also like to play some online pool once in awhile these days.
So if anyone is interested in playing a game or two,let me know,
I'll post the details in the proper forum as to where and what times
that I generally play.

Second... I am not sure what you mean by "online pool", so give details

Yes the blackhawks I agree, looks like they will be champs this year
but Habs are my fav, hey everyone roots for their home team usually anyways,
don't they? Plus Habs having lots of new players did pretty well in the playoffs,
I mean washington and then pittsburgh, that was epic! ;)

As for online pool, I meant multiplayer game of pool (billiards) Online Billiards Games - play pool and snooker at www.8BallClub.com Sorry for not making that clear and thank you for noticing. The link I put is the best free site I found so far, as far as graphics and also offers free multiplay for points.

Hey, there, I did not know that you are in the introduction thread. Glad that you are the hockey fan for Montreal Canadien. My husband and I are more into Toronto Maple Leafs and second, Ottawa Senators. I am also so glad that you were involved in discussing about the Stanley Cup in the Sports Talk forum. Wow, Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup which had been a long time coming after 49 years (1961).

have introduced myself here before I started
posting. The hockey thread in sports was fun,
can't wait for next year :) Hopefully my Habs
will do just as good or better next year! :cool2:

They are, but LSQ is a French sign language, a little bit different than ASL. I don't know how to sign LSQ and it is only in Quebec or any other province who are signing LSQ. I am more comfortable using the ASL as it is almost universal from coast to coast right here in North America (both in Canada and United States). :cool2:

Correct, LSQ is really Quebec only, although there are
similarities, the languages are different agreed and ASL
is much more universal (coast to coast)as Bebonang said.
