The 950 BlackBerry is a small pager sized device whose main purpose is to send and receive e-mail wirelessly.

I first purchased WyndTell RIM 950 pager late 1990's or early 2000's. Monthy charge was $9.95. cheaper rate. I liked to use it. Do you use it before?

So old school  and I never had one in my whole life!

I had been business in selling WyndTell pagers. I repaired it and replaced replacement screen, keyboard, etc. that easy to repair. I was no longer to sell them and junk out old pagers and parts.

They stopped making them right?

Wynd Communications in California were out of business to sell RIM 950 in several years ago. RIM Blackberry in Toronto, Canada no longer to make it to change different device.

I wouldnt bother with that cuz it may not be able to send or receive where there is weak or no signal. I had similar one like that and it aint worth the crap.
sorry to say that.

yes i still have two old 950s in my office. one of them is still functional yet it is disconnected... they were very good in 90s. i used bellsouth mobility's service.

my first mobile was big one, motorola box phone, that i used TTY on that box phone. i still keep it in my office also. i dont know why i love mobiles.

Oh, gotta not forgot about old sweet name... cingular!!

Motorola pager is my first device in 2001 then switched to Nokia 3300 under cingular in 2003 and use old fashion cingular GPRS, that's so simple website and AIM isn't looks nice, it was $30 monthly for unlimited data/SMS but no TAP at this time.

After year, I wasn't happy with Nokia 3300 due signal issue, such as dead spot and not enjoy to use then I got SK2 under tmobile for my birthday in 2004 and love so much, later, I hate it.

Now, cingular/att looks much improved than before, haven't got dead spot until got in South GA and FL in last 3 weeks, I got some dead spot at random time and old fashion cingular GPRS in some area, especially in rural area.
