whatdidyousay, the reason they don't have cameras on every single prisoner every single second of the day is that it's impossible to do that. They would have to have one person watching that prisoner. They'd need at least two people a day per prisoner to do that. Multiply that by the millions who are in prison or jail and you have twice as many millions of people needed to do that work. Add in the cost of the cameras and setting up places for these millions of people to work and you're blowing a ton of money for the very rare cases of people managing to escape. I
