Hi everyone,

I am a student at Durham University. A partner and I are conducting a research project within the geography department which looks at people's first hand experiences of Deafness and how this relates to an individual's sense of self.

We are particularly interested in looking at the everyday aspects that shape one's identity, looking beyond the deaf/hearing binary which has been explored extensively in academia.

We are inviting anyone who is deaf or has a hearing disability to take part in this research. We would greatly appreciate your response!

Thank you,

Assistance with school assignments are frowned upon on this site, but I think you'd get a more reliable source by reading related threads and quantifying it to prove your point. How far are you in school? Have you taken a required statistics course to help you with this type of assignment?

Thanks for your response. The research we are conducting requires we gather original data, but I understand if this isn’t the proper forum. I will definitely read through the threads as well though. We are final year Geography students at Durham University in England. We have taken quantitative geography statistics courses, but this survey will be concentrating on qualitative - experience based responses.
