Rescued Deaf Pup is So Happy He Wags His Tail While Sleeping

That is great name for him Frank , he looks like a frankfurter . LOL!
What a cute doggie.

:wave:RR and WDYS!

That is an adorable pup! I love his posture on the bed:D

I wanted to watch the video but seems my computer is low on memory <hubby says> and so seems like Utube videos and other lots of data crash it so I didn't watch...but just for informational purposes generally -

"wagging tail" does not equal a happy dog. Behaviorally, wagging tail means - arousal. Whether that ends up in human perspective as "happy" or not, relays on additional things, such as how the dog feels about the situation.
But people do and have gotten into trouble assuming a wagging tail means the dog happy and friendly. Not always. Arousal can also mean or lead to: aggression. As in - I see you and I'm worried or don't want you here and so I'm getting agitated and that includes moving my tail fast.

The tail only tells part of the story of how the dog feels. Look at the whole dog.

:giggle:...I noticed "no arousal"...:giggle:...but Frank does have buffalo balls....:laugh2:...sleeping on his back...the video said he was abused...and finally adopted...so it could be he was dreaming of someone attempting to abuse him. so he laid on his back and wagged his tail.......sort of "I'm sorry" or "please don't"....could be he was worried also....but let's hope he was dreaming of good things as his adoptive parents took him in, and he looks so healthy and happy.

I am aware a wagging tail does not always mean a happy dog. I tried to read the whole dog and when it with it owner I try to read their body language too. Some I wonder if my dog Marty is barking at the dog or the person walking the dog.

I hope he was dreaming good things, too - thanks for explaining more on the video:ty:, RR

WDYS, that's good that you read canine body language:D
as far as Marty, hard to say, is the reaction of a person alone, versus person w/dog - different or same?

I am not sure something if I should more concerned about the person or dog . Marty has growl at people he did not like Finlay was very good at judging people so I would think Marty being part poodle would be too. They're very smart dogs.

Awww...that's so sweet!

You realize dogmom meant hyper vigilant, right?

Nervous and mistrusting the reason for the wagging tail while sleeping.

Not really a relaxed dog.

I took Marty out a walk this evening and a couple where sitting in their car and the woman said she liked the way my dogged walked and Marty started barking and growling at the people and they had no dog . My dog did not like that lady at all he would not stop barking at her. So Marty does bark at people he does not trust.

That vid made my morning...thank you for posting it...:D
