Request I received from my Christy website

Just today, on my Christy message board, I got the following request from someone that just posted on it. Is there's anyway you may help. Here's what he requested:

Hi my name is Allen and I am in my 4th semester of ASL in college. I need a little help with a project I am doing. I am supposed to present a signed report over a topic dealing with signed languages or deafness, but not relating to medical or audiological aspects of deafness. I am hearing though an therefor don't have a lot of knowledge of where I might find such information. If anyone can help or has any suggestions on a possible topic I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
