Hello everyone! My name is Kim. I have been deaf since birth. I use sign language. I have Cochlear Implant but I stopped wearing it when I was 15. Im 28 now. I got it when I was 9. I was one of the first members to join this website in around 2003. I met wonderful people and dated few of them back then so I want to try again to meet people. Ask me anything that you want to know about me!

welcome back

Nice to have you back. You are exactly the person AD needs to liven things up here. Please dish the dirt on the people you dated from here. !!! That should make this thread hop.

Heyyyy, Kim! Welcome back, girl! How have you been?????

welcome back... I'm curious.. why is it important to talk about your implant even though you don't use it anymore (right?).

:welcome: back to AllDeaf, SilverRoxy. I don't remember you that long ago. But I hope you are planning on staying more here on AD. Congratulation that you have CI or is that what netrox mentioned? I am thinking maybe you might have second CI (meaning that you removed the first CI and got another second CI). Am I right? Just guessing like netrox. Have fun with us. Enjoy reading and posting all the threads here. See you around here.

Hi and welcome.

Bebonang - she doesn't use her implant anymore.

OOOOkay. I guess I did not read what she is trying to say and I read very careful after what you said. Whew, that is good that she stop if it is not working for her. CI can be a pain in the head.

Heeyyyyyy sup??!!

Heyyyy Silveroxy aka #2904!! Lol. What made you brought back to AD? Welcome back, old school ADer!

Beboang, no she (my friend) ain't wearing CI no more. Yes, that's also good for her not to wear it. Since you know most hearing parents urged so hard and sometimes brainwashed, or forced their deaf kids to get the implants when they were 10 and under. Most of my friends like her current age and younger did have CI but not wearing it anymore for long time now. CI is just B.S. tool. Enuff said. :)

Heyy!! I have been doing good. How about you? Whats new? I heard that you have a new girlfriend, is that true? If it is, I am happy for you!! :)

Yes, I stopped because I had vertigo and headaches when I wore it. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Heyy!! How are you doing??? I am surprised that you are still around! Do you still live in buffalo? Yeah people expected me to understand them without using sign language when I wore CI. It was frustrating. Did anyone ever had a thread that went over 2904 posts??? lol

I'm doing great, Kim! Moved to a new place, same town though. Yes, I have a new girlfriend and she's originally from Long Island. You probably know her.

So, how's your doggy? I forget his name. I still remember how he used to pee on me (and others?) out of excitement whenever I visited you guys. :laugh2:
