It's quite obvious that Microsoft developed Office because they have their name attached to it.
But that's not the point... the point is... it's available on OS X. OS X is not a software developer, it is an operating system. Get your head straightened out! In fact, I'll say that Microsoft Office on the Mac is better than the PC version.
