Very well spoken jillio.

I know we have all been through something like this at one time or another.  You handled the situation like a real adult.  You seem like a really good person and did not deserve that treatment.

I remember I was in WalMart with my sister and we were on 2 different register lines.  The line I was on had a guy talking to the checkout girl for a long time, both of them totally ignoring me.  I was getting frustrated and turned to my sister to come to my line because I couldn't hear what they were saying.  Turns out my sister comes over and hears them calling me a bitch and how they made me wait on purpose.  My sister looked at them and said "she's deaf".     The checker turned bright red, but was still rude to me...I was almost in tears!  My sister told the checker to bag everything over and double bag my purchase because she did it wrong and made them too heavy.   The checker got mad and embarrassed, so my sister looked at her and said, "how does it feel" and 'have a nice day".   I just stood there because I didn't know what was going on until after... thus people think we are stupid.   Sometimes you must handle things differently to make people realize how totally cruel they are.  I am sure that girl will remember that day as "the day I dissed the deaffie girl".
