Hop, skip and a jump! Amazing footage shows plucky rabbit successfully evading huge avalanche by surfing along the snow and leaping to safety

Remarkable footage has emerged showing a plucky rabbit escaping from a fast-moving avalanche.

The clip begins with snow tumbling down a mountain behind a snowboarder who, despite the imminent peril, manoeuvres out of the way relatively calmly.
Then a white rabbit, clearly panicked, runs directly into the avalanche's path, seemingly doomed.
