Davy Jones passed away at age 66. I liked the Monkees as a toddler.
 
He was a heart throb of mine in those "early" days....Hope he's still swinging from those trees.....
 
Awwwww I just saw the Monkees on tv the other day. He was my favorite Monkee.
 
Another one dying too young. :(

I enjoyed watching the Monkees.

Don't think I've ever listened to The Monkees, but my mom is bummed about Davy's death. He was my mom's favorite too.
 
Aww gee.... loved watching the Monkees show while growing up. Age 66...that's still young to me. :/

I think he was secretly Fleagal on the Banana Splits too.

:Oops: Yes Fleagle. :lol: Fleagal is probably someone at OWS. Drooper was my favorite. I actually went to see them live when I was like 5. I always liked the big slide they showed at the end. Six Flags had one of those back then too.

I saw them at the Sid and Marty Kroft World in Atlanta. Banana Splits were created by them, btw.

I remember from watch Monkees on TV in 1970s. I love to watch them at most mornings... R.I.P. Davy Jones :-(
 
I watched the monkees reruns growing up with my sisters.

But his name .....makes you wonder if those who pirated his music will end up in his locker
 
never heard of them or the guy. i do know he died of heart attack..
 
did not care much for the show. loved the Dean Jeffries modified Pontiac GTO.
