Hey I'm pretty new here and I wanted to get the opinions of a few Deaf people about something I've wondered about. Question: In general if you meet a hearing person who is learning ASL and interested in the Deaf community what is you first thought about them?

I wonder this because I am that person. I want to have a career in the Deaf Community and am trying to learn ASL. Thanks in advance for you opinion.

Happy that person is interested in deaf culture and want to talk to us.. show me that person is caring and understanding wanting to interact with deaf people. impressed me as well..
