I do not understand either.
If a person do not want us to ask questions. Then they have no business posting a thread about their personal lives in the first place. Especially when the question was not out of context or off topic. Instead of saying non of your business or having their threads locked. They could have simply replied and said I rather not answer that specific question.
I have no problem with respecting some one privacy when asked to in certain threads. But when it is open for discussions I will ask questions to make sure I understand what is going on. Or out of concern.
I do not have anyone on my Ignore list either. 
I like to see what people have to say! Even if it is not something I agree on.
