Let's say you are a parent of grown kids (over 18)....would you and how do you feel about asking them for marijuana?....Would you smoke it with them?....Would you buy it for them?

No.. I'm a chronic law abider.

I used to cause mischief when I was a kid but now I obey every stupid law to the letter to the ire of some. It bugs the heck out of my Dad. :laugh2:

If it may put me in jail, I don't do it. Only medical marijuana is legal where I live. And even with that seems to run into problems according what I see on the news.

I don't know what you would but I do know we're not allowed to quote one another.

Marijuana is not legal here in Florida (medical isn't either)...only in a few cases, I believe...Lawyers are still fighting to legalize it tho'.

Reason I asked the members is because I know of several people that do smoke with their adult children...(not around me)....I would not feel comfortable doing this around kids....but it's happening everywhere.

No, I would not buy it for someone over 18 ever let alone smoke it with them. It encourages to much and would be a mistake. The only way ever that I would smoke it is if it was legally given as a script from my doctor and it provides relief to my illness.

I know of at least one person in WA who does smoke marijuana (supposedly for medicinal purposes but I and my friend both question that...) and I'm betting she does smoke it in front of her kid but no idea if the kid does or would smoke the stuff.

If I had kids...I might MIGHT give 'em money for it but am not gonna buy it for them (other than medicinal- and proven that is needed). I would not smoke around the kids (or anyone else for that matter if I do decide to inhale)

I would neither buy it or smoke it with them.

I wouldn't either... I have to wonder if there is co-dependency issues involved. I've noticed parents who treat their children like friends have greater rates of addiction and alcoholism in the family.

Given my past, I certainly know which end to light. I could not see myself firing one up with the kids, though. I've been around adults that did, and it felt awkward, big time.

Never. You can be setting up a bad example where they may apply this idea to other questionable things.

If I saw a "parent" buying weed for their kids and smoking it with them, I would give them a swift kick in the nads and quickly walk away.

Yes, I know that would be illegal. But so is buying weed for your kids. Two wrongs do make a right if you think about it in mathematical terminology. Two negatives times each other makes a positive.

I also wear cowboy boots, so that positive became even more positiver.

blaring a toy siren to scare them here and there. hmmm a nice mind game.
