I am now using a walker for leg and balance issues. The doctor says it may only be a few more years and I may be in a wheelchair. I am going through testing and so far they think I have fibromyalgia.

What I want to know is, since I have this balance problem, how do I handle signing while walking? It seems a pain to have to stop for everything. You would never get anywhere. Know what I mean?

I'm not trying to be insensitive or anything. I am just trying to see hoe I can work this out. I will be using the walker while I am out of town this weekend and it will be my first time being in this position without any family for support. I am finding I rely on my hearing family too much and so I am trying to become more independent since losing the last of my hearing.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is safer to hold up 1 finger, wait. Then stop. Bother, but safer.
