Question about Gally

I submitted the application (for Jan 2008) in last 2 days ago and faxed all recommendation, high school transcript, audiogram, also ACT sent the score too. I'm wait for get letter if accept or not.

How long when letter will be arrive? I haven't applied for financial aid yet.

Does I do forget about something? Please remain me if forget about something.
 
Gallaudet's application process is pretty long... I applied Gallaudet and I sent it from MSSD, and it took me long... Gallaudet will even need ur placement test or whatever before u would get acceptable letter from Gallaudet... If u havent hear from them for pretty long time such as one month, then email them... Do not start application FAFSA, and etc till u get confirmantion letter from Gallaudet such as acceptable, etc

Oh really? Placement test is like ACT or SAT?

ACT does sent my score result to Gally as well.

Question about RH, Does they allow students to bring microwave to heat their food up in room?

It won't allowed at NTID/RIT.

I'm a former Gally student, I bought a cheap 5 dollar used microwave for my personal food whenever I want it so I'm sure it's allowed unless President Bush banned it :lol:

No, placement test is to find ur result for English and Math...

Yea, RH allowed students bring mircowave in RH, but no toaster oven allowed or any red wire hot (hard to explain)

What's happen about toaster oven? because of too risk to cause fire?

I remember about toaster oven and looks like traditional oven, that allow to cook cake, cookie or any frozen food that's not supported on microwave.

There's a microwave on every floor in the dorms.

Toaster is definitely not allowed. Just about every time someone uses a toaster, the fire alarm goes off.

Thats why many food starting selling easy make such as easy Ragu, easy Mac, and easy hamburger helper for ur convience to use mircowave instead oven/cooking on stove.. I do sometime stuck to use mircowave such as hot dogs, but it tastes good, ha...

excalty, also popcorn if overcook and bomb (fire alarm goes off)! I am SRA, I dont wanna to handle damn fire alarm!

Nope. The problem with that is because a lot of students don't care for their microwaves properly and start fires in their room. They rather keep it to a minimum by having a microwave in the kitchen... one on each floor.
 
Does Gallaudet get visited by ice cream trucks like here in Calif?
