Pocket Speak & Read with Direct Connect KM-PVCO-C


The Pocket Speak and Read allows greater mobility and convenience in placing VCO calls. It can be connected to cordless phones, payphones, office phones, phones located in emergency call boxes, and TTY-compatible cellphones* using the direct connect cable (included). Simply place the device on the earpiece of the phone using the attached elastic straps and call the state Relay service, then talk into the mouthpiece and read their responses. (Person receiving VCO call must change their TTY to Baudot.) Easy to carry. Size: 4.25"W x 2.75"H x .75"D. One year warranty.

I just finish draw VCO that show how it work with Relay Service in Illustration. I will have to get that file at my workplace and post here later... That should show more clear. :lol:
 
okay, here is... :cool: :?:

HCO stand for Hearing Carry Over which for someone who can hear but cannot speak, possible lose voice box or can't speech well.

I just got in the mail!! works so great with cordless phone you know what this means?? I am gonna get a cool cordless phone I have always drooled (not literally) over the cool and technological advanced cordless - I really envied hearing people about this... Now I can get one instead of being stuck with an ugly phone with VCO or TTY ..........you know what I mean....Now I can go to Circuit City and get a chrome with all the features including caller id and all the buttons (yes I am mad about latest technology)

Dang you post around 3 times with this. You are really happy. Hmm thats cool. Think you can show it to me when i get to cali. Im always interesting in new technology. They are really improving for the deaf world. I am happy for you all. Makin this easier for you to get around. :thumb:

It works so great with cordless phones :) now I can walk around the house and chat :)
