I m very interesting about "Click-to-Call" like Skype add-on.

Purple "Click-To-Call" application for P3 will be available very soon for all P3 users. :) Click-to-Call looks for phone numbers on any webpage, then changes them into clickable links. Now you can dial any number on any webpage you visit with just one click. No more copying and pasting phone numbers from the web.

Once you install Click-to-Call, this add-on automatically highlights phone numbers in purple (our favorite color) whenever you visit a page. Click on any highlighted number and your call will start automatically.

Example: You order pizza on webpage to click phone number in purple and automatically open to call them by VRS. Don't request to copy and paste phone number from web.

Purple will send more info on it to you soon.

Anything new for MVP? I remember the last update for MVP 1.4 was since late summer. I think they stopped updating MVP and I think Purple focused much on P3 than they would work on MVP. I guess they stopped working on adding features on MVP and focused working on adding more features on P3.

I believe they are no longer in service with the MVP...:dunno:


other than that, awesome, I know that Skype has done that and it is good.

No, they have left approx. 650 MVP now. If you want to get it, contact purple customer care.

Huh? I already have MVP in my home. I am talking about update with MVP. The last update is 1.4 for MVP since summer. What do you mean 650? I was asking when the next update for MVP.

I m meaning that Purple have 650 devices of MVP in storage. I will check upgrade for MVP.

Firmware version: 1.5.4 no upgrade yet.
 
Chevy, HOVRS's FAQ page says MVP Is no longer distributed but continued to support it. HOVRS - FAQ

But JClarke says "no longer in service" wrong! no longer distributed but MVP is still supported by Purple's HOVRS but that means update for it won't be very frequent.

my opinion is that it should be updated frequently to sort out bugs! PLEASE! (There's problem with purplemail on MVP! since Purple updated P3 recently)

I feel that they should upgrade MVP more at the same time when P3 get upgrades. That way they can work on bugs on both MVP and P3. If they focus on P3 only, then more bugs will come up for MVP which will cause problems for people who are MVP users. Correct me if I am wrong about it...:shrug:
 
P3 users, you may download the new software called "click to call" this software allows you to call VRS from any web page or directory by simply clicking on the Purple highlight.

I know of several people that pre ordered MVP during the Purple hysteria and they never got the MVP. Not even a response back. And one is a good friend of mine.

In my opinion, MVP purple hysteria and the MVP itself was a total flop !!! Telling people the more friends they signed up, the better chance they get a MVP is TOTALLY unethical and unprofessional... ( Reminds me of the MCI days of " friends and family " )

That was the first big Public Relations mistake Purple made of many mistakes since MVP,,
 
I agree MVP is big flop. I have one and at first, thought it was cool to use by itself so I can call from garage or anywhere. but going on away trips, the battery life really, really, really sucks!!!! takes too long to boot up etc.

Now purple is focusing on P3 since its more profitable for them and easier.
