Are ya guys gonna boycott ps3 for its abhorrent behavior against a certian third party company that has been with them from the start and now they took it to court solely to monopolize the market?

I originally was going to get a ps3 solely for metal gear 4, but now I'm saying screw sony. They've grown way too f'--- big for their britches. Metal gear solid 4 will probably port to nintendo anyways since kojima is getting buddy buddy with nintendo again. Lemme hear your input guys.

Its up to ppl who wants to boycott the PS3 or not. I do agree that Sony is giving third party developers a difficult time with the PS3 hardware such as the ppl who made Call of Duty 3 said it was harder to develope it on the PS3 version than it was on the Wii version and Sony doesnt even seem to care about what developers think but just want money, money money going around and around. I highly doubt MGS4 will be ported to Wii due to graphics engines that is completely different than the Wii's graphics engine so its only about 10% better than the GameCube's graphics engine. But it is possible that Konami can make some kind of a Metal Gear Solid-related game or something that would be supported with the Wii controller. If Konami wants to port MGS4 to another console, obviously it will be Xbox360 since PS3 and Xbox360 works in mostly equal ways. There have been rumors on the new EGM that they think MGS4 will no longer be a PS3 exclusive but maybe they just published it to get some attention. :roll: So whatever to EGM and whatever to Konami and WHATEVER to Sony. They are all a bunch of fuck ups lately lol.
 
nah, I don't care about Lik-Sang.

They are sell like illegal but MS did sued on Lik-Sang for sell mod chips.
 
Boycotting Playstation 3 isn't gonna hurt them. If you decide not to buy them, that's one more happy gamer who's able to get his hands on one. Secondly, Sony already reported a 94% loss due to fuck-ups related to the Playstation 3. It's only a matter of time before they get back on their feet.

I finally played one of their games today at a local Target and BestBuy. Boy, the graphics are SWEET!

Sony can kiss my ass for the time being. Right now, I have absolutely no reason to own a PS3 because all of the games that will sastify my needs are already on the X360 and will be coming to it in the future.

I see no point in owning a PS3 any time soon. No, MGS4 doesn't cut it for me.

Hey guys,

I noticed that shoppers start to buy xbox 360 more. Reason they knew PS3 will be sold out. Also reason is game, Gears of War had been sold out everywhere now. Also for hd-dvd sold out everywhere too. I glad to have xbox 360 instead PS3. Of course, I want one but I realized that I love xbox 360 right now of everything including dashboard, games, etc.

I want to wait and see how reviewers will compare with PS3 and Xbox 360 and feedback from customers.

Also will test PS3 on kiosk.

They lose about $200 per ps3 they make correct? So basically the less people that decide to buy ps3's and opt out for a wii or 360 = more profit loss for sony.

Also it's to show that they're screwing up and us, gamers who THEY thrive on do not like it. Without a healthy amount of fans they get literally fucked with a red hot poker and will become humble! They will go the way of the dinosaurs, the way of the buffalo, the way of the SEGA DREAMCAST!!! :eek3: Hm, yeah. I just hate seeing big companies boss around other companies like that.

Whoa...never mock the dreamcast dear boy! it was one of Sega's last legacy and Sega made alot of great games in the past but sure Sega made alot of errors but they werent that greedy and fucked up like Sony is... Sega made alot of mistakes when Sega CD, Saturn and even Dreamcast came out but I'm sure Dreamcast was the best cause of more fun games out there than there were for Sega CD and Saturn. I'll never forget Sonic Adventure, House of the dead 2, RECode: Veronica, Crazy Taxi, and Shenmue. The best of all games out there for Dreamcast and sadly, I never get to play it was Phantasy Star Online the best selling RPGs by Sega. Dreamcast died for alot of reasons and it wasnt Sega's fault. they just tried their best. Sega admitted Sony's PS2 beat them since the PS2 had backwards compatiablity and DVD playback, etc...which the dreamcast had none of those and only plays Dreamcast games and had a 56K modern which obviously SUCKED big time so PS2 and Xbox uses broadband connection instead and now Xbox360 adn PS3 will continue to use the same. Dreamcast was a great console but surely it never meet more than just games and I will always miss my sweet ol' dreamcast. and its stored nice and cozy in a box dust free in my closet so whenever I want to play dreamcast again i can take it out and catch up with the old favorites again.
 
Heh, memories of nes, snes, sega. Back in the day videogames were all about fun. I still happen to think super mario bros. and various nes games are some of the most challenging games even when compared to newer games. Also back in the day they relayed on hype from the players to sell a game thusly making good games. Now they just pay off revewers and game magazines to generate bullshit hype even if a game is shit, it gets overhyped.


Anyways, I didn't really mean to diss dreamcast - It did crap out of the /game / quite quickly. Power stone and GTA2 were good DC games as well :P
