OMG! Now I gotta add this to my xbox game collection when it comes out...Over 100 cars and 10 cities including Washington, DC (Hopefully I get a shot at racing by the Gally campus since I couldn't find the damn campus in Midtown Madness 3) and even the famous 14 mile long Nurburgring Nordschleife race track in Germany!!

*faint* at sight of the Saleen S7 in Sydney, Australia

*faint again* after seeing the 1970 Pontiac Trans Am running thru back alley of Stockholm, Sweden.

Whoooa that a much more diverse assortment of cars, trucks and SUV's than GT4! (and it would be so fun to drive the F150 Lightning PPT against a couple Ferrari's for a few laughs!)

Now I'm tempted to run and pick up my copy on the 18th November!

*UPDATE*

I picked up my copy of PGR2 and after a week of playing it.....it totally kicked the original PGR's ass along with GT3!

The 14 mile long Nurburgring Germany track is a real stretch! It took me 7:45 to do a lap of it using a Porsche Carrera GT. The 1970 Pontiac Trans-Am pulled off a 8:30 lap of the Nordschleife.... (other people used Ferrari Enzo's to pull in 6:15 laps at that track)

The vibration on the controller was fuckin' awesome. I can even feel the car shift gears on the controller along with the vibration of spinning wheels as I power-slided the poor car along a curve. The gear shifting vibration can either be pretty soft or hard depending on how far I got the motor to redline. IMO the hardest-shifting car has to be the Cadillac XLR (the C6 Corvette's sister)

The last PGR had you losing all the KUDOS points at once if u slammed onto a wall. This time around, slam a wall, only a small piece of the KUDOS points go up in smoke. There are additional KUDOS points given out for good lines, tailing behind another car, and clean races. The KUDOS really racked up compared to the original PGR. Unlocking cars are much different. In order to unlock a car, I have to collect 4K-20K KUDOS points to reach a KUDOS level, in turn I get some KUDOS tokens that I can use to unlock different cars!

The difficulty levels are much changed from PGR1. There are now 5 difficulty levels ranging from Steel Medal to Platinum Medal.

Since there are 103 cars and 11 cities including Chicago and Washington, DC compared to 30 cars and 4 cities in the original PGR....My faves happen to be for the cars: 1967 Corvette 435/427 Stingray, 1970 Pontiac Trans Am and the Ford SVT F150 Lightning PPT Truck. The towns I prefer to race around for PGR2 are: Edinburgh (Lothian Road Eight Long course), Chicago (West on Wacker Drive course) and Washington DC (Capitol Run 2 course)

Can't wait for PGR3 to come out as long as they keep the Nurburgring Nordschleife track!
