Grandad's passing
Hello, family and friends,
I would like to let all of you know that my grandfather, V.N. Burgess, 86, just passed away this morning at 9:40 am in Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas with Uncle Bob and Aunt Nina at his bedside.
I was looking through this special album that my mom made for Grandad's 80th birthday. People said many wonderful things about him.
Jean Milton Smith Jr. said that Grandad would fill bag with trash that he found during hunting. Jean was impressed that Grandad had concern and cares about people's property.
Lucille Benedives also said that when she first work for Grandad, she was feared of him because he was strict but she realized that he was most warming guy she ever met.
Pat Dean said that she never seen Grandad upset or in bad mood.
Bob Dean, Pat's husband, said that Pat took job offer from Grandad because of his wonderful and loving personality and respect he had for people.
I am blessed that Grandad died on this beautiful day so he can go to heaven when it's sunny. He's up there with Grandmother.
Thanks,
Sean
