Airtel 3G carrier 1GB for 1month costs around INR255 (3.85 USD)

Do you guys mind posting what carriers you are using? I pay $58 for my phone, and $44 for Internet at home. Where do you get the $29 prices; is that for your phone?

I pay 39.99 $ a month for my phone which is an unlimited data plan.
I also pay 29.99 $ a month for my WiFi which is also an unlimited data usage plan.
Usually, people don't download GB's a month or lets say, get around to 100 GB's of downloaded data but paying the extra charge is worth it in most cases!

:D

$50 a month/unlimited data (grandfathered) at Verizon

There is also the fact that so many plans in the US are a combination of voice (talk), text and data (internet) for a given amount per month and not broken down for so much per service.

That's called "bundle" they all go in one bill. Cable companies also do that too with internet and TV as well as phone.

I have yet to hear of a cell phone bill that comes broken down with so many dollars (in the USA) for voice, so many dollars for text and so many dollars for data/internet.

I think that's very common these days. Mine is broken down into several components and my husband's even further because he also has voice on his whereas I don't.

Bundle is cheaper and easier than breaking down the bills. The only difference is the data limit.

Your bill actually gives you a dollar amount for each component separately and then the total bill for the month?

But our OP asked for mobile internet cost. I am saying that I think that many in the US do not have bills that break it down so that they know how much of their total bill is for voice, how much is for text and how much if for data (internet).

I don't know how foreign mobile bill breaks down... in USA most of the mobile bills bundle together.

Yes. I've never had it any other way. It could be that we use major carriers in a large metro area, so they really do break it down. A bill can take up like 4 pages of how everything is broken down.

Actually, all you need to do is tell the Carrier of what you want in particular! Usually and commonly, most services are in Packages or I.E. Bundles as Calvin has mentioned above.

Most companies do not list seperate things like, texts, voice, data, etc because the chart can be very extensive. So, companies usually make the most common packages visible as most people will usually go for the bundles.

But, if you want something different as just paying for text, voice, data, etc. you just simply tell them what you want and they will give it to you but keep in mind, bundles are made and designed to save the buyer money. Getting something different will probably cost you more money but most commonly, it won't because if you're only wanting text for example, you'll only be charged for the text bill and the usage of the phone, per-month or how-ever you set up your payment plans!
