The pho are to die for, but it gets boring fast because it's mostly all most Vietnamese places offer. Once in awhile, you will find a restaurant that will offer food that are not popular among Westerners (because we want our FOOD NOW, not wait!). The one I went to is not one of those ones... and before I judge a place, I need to go to them three or four times.

The Korean dishes on the platter were a size of something between a lunch plate and a dinnerplate; usually I ask for extra sidedishes (pan-fried seaweed, kimichi, sweet potato, fishcakes, beansprouts and so on) to fill meup. The curry chicken, on the other hand, was on a huge platter. Was stuffed after that one.

Just the camera playing tricks of making objects appear larger they are-- common among foodbloggers.
 
I eat pho once a week. Going tomorrow with friends for lunch.

I don't really eat a whole meal. If I miss my breakfast or lunch, I'll probably eat a whole meal for a dinner. I've been to the Korean restaurant before, and I could not eat a whole meal. There are too many sides for me to consume. I love curry powder.

I had taken the pics of my meals at restaurants like Chinese and Greek, so I post them on my facebook. I tried this Indian restaurant in particular, and the meals are extremely spicy. Too bad, they closed down later.. Maybe the customers can't handle that spicy stuff.

That's usually the case with lots of authentic Thai and Indian places. :(

Yep, My hubby was a bit sad, but on the bright side, there are plenty of Indian restaurants in Dallas to try out.
