Do you believe in religion or are religious? Yes no other?

Note: This is not a discussion to prove whether if there is or there is no God. This is just to see how alldeaf users feel about religion or faith. Discuss religion and this thread gets the :locked:.
 
Didn;t know religious and have faith is the same thing. I thought they both are separate. I go for "have faith". yet I am not into religious.
 
I think there's a big difference between being religious and being spiritual.

I'm not a religious person but I am a very spiritual person. I do follow some of the teachings of a specific religion (to a degree) but the religion does not define me for who I am and what I do.

Yea I think some people don't like to consider religious their word but prefer faith or spiritual instead so that is why I put both, so it wasn't just about believe in a God only.
 
I know people who are spiritual but not religious.

Who are religious but are spiritual.

And a relatively few are both religious and spiritual.
 
I am not a religious person although I have a faith.

I just have my own moral thoughts on sensitive issues.

I'm a born-again Christian, which means that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That doesn't really fit any of the poll categories the way it's worded.
 
If I'm not mistaken, the word Pastafarian should be spelled with an R instead of a P.

I've looked up Pastafarian and now I wonder if he meant to include this site or if this was a typo. Here's the ironic part: I think I knew this church under a different name but the name escapes me.

They say they aren't a joke religion but given the contents of the web page, I can't help but wonder. :hmm:

Just checked out Church of Subgenus and it hasn't renamed itself the Church of Pastafarian so these are two different groups. I finally remembered the name.

I hate to say this but I don't see how I could have confused the two. I guess I have forgotten more than I thought. :P
