Hi all!

My name is Katie and I am a student training to become an Intervention Specialist for children with special needs grades K-12. For one of the classes I am taking right now we are reading a chapter on "Deafness and Hearing Loss" and are engaging in small group discussions about our findings. One way I am hoping to learn about the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community is by immersing myself in the culture itself and asking for help from the true experts! Is there anyone willing to be my teacher?

This is the third person coming in here, saying they wanna be Intervention Specialists.....what gives? Is the whold class coming in here or something else?

Looks like AD is like Cliff notes....they will get much more understanding and learning if meet in real life, socialize with the deaf and whatnot.

I think they're all taking the same class at the University of Dayton.:giggle:
