Are you tired of scams from Nigeria? Here’s your chance to be scammed right here in the beautiful Pacific northwest.

Send your $$ ($$$ in Canada for Canada lynx as pictured) tax-deductible donation to Limbs for Cats.

The tragic story: Because of laws proliferating the Oregon woods with spotted owls, cats must stack themselves on single tree limbs, as you can see. We install artificial limbs onto trees to avoid abusive cat-stacking.

As you might imagine, de-stacking cats and moving them to artificial limbs sets up terrible caterwauling, so it’s best if done by deafies. Don’t forget: deafies are 90% unemployed.

Your donated $$ will help offset the rising costs of heavy gloves, catcher’s masks, and tree-climbing spikes. Band-Aids, too, for catastrophic falls.

Our group is deaf enough for the job if you are dumb enough to send your $$.

Hmm...I wonder if this fits in the right category...under 'save the animals' funding? Then again, not sure if this will even catalyze the situation whereas the layers of cats will lessen just by inserting a few fake limbs in place. On the other hand, I may be 'dumb' enough to send $$ to the wrong place....

May be if you give me the address and account number of this fund I will give it to the next guy who informs me that one of my distant realatives that worked for Shell oil died and left me money when traveling on the bad roads in Nigeria!!! :giggle: :giggle:

What a great sentence, Scherm. I'm still trying to say it in one breath. When I can, I'm going to use it on the next panhandler.

Note the cat on the top bunk seems to have a more comfortable expression than the one below.

But I guess he or she won't get much sympathy from a wolf who can't stop running and a hot chick on a bike.

Speaking of which, I enjoyed your thumbnail of you and your hubby. How goes the move north?
