Pic/Videos on a new webstie

I am scary before taking a step and felt it necessary to ask some that "I recently started a new website, can I post pic and video of another's website on mine....?"

I think the right way is to write to the owner of the website with the picture and video. Ask permission to use them. Wait and see what they say.

Hmm, what is wrong about using your own pictures? I don't want people to go on my website to see other people's pictures. I want people to go to my website to see my pictures.
