So I have decided to take the plunge and actuallyyyy start a portfolio for modeling...my first meeting with the photographer is on friday to go over settings and type of photos and such. I am going to get extensions in my hair as i want to be able to do more with it and easily for the shoot...my hair takes foreverrr...i have a make up artist and a hair stylist too! I am sooo excited!! :)

What type are you going to pose yourself in picture? soft porn? innocent girl on next door? wild punk? dark?

no porn PowerOn lol ...i mite take some bathing suit shots! but other than that no nakedness what so ever! yuck..not my cup of tea...i've done some modeling shows before like hair shows and such and i was asked to be in a lingerie show..i said no...im not comfortable walking around in my skivies around ppl i dont know especially on a run way...maybe if i was stationary and only some ppl walked by and noticed..but parading myself...nah im ok lol
 
That is pretty interesting. Good luck to you. Did you get an agent?

Not yet. I am getting my portfolio done first and then going to get an agent. Usually if you do that first you don't get the run around and I would have to pay more for the photoshoot if I had an agent already since they would get a cut. The photoshoot is already 400 plus make up and hair but i get 600 shots and 30-40 touch ups
 
Good luck in your modeling career! Let us know how it went?

My niece is a professional model. She travels all over the world for a picture taken. She has been in a several magazines but right now, she is taking a break because she wants to spend with her family and friends and she also wants to focus on her education. My niece will be graduating from H.S. this May. Then, she will go back to her modeling career. Excellent choice!

That's awesome...I don't expect to be huge, although that would be awesome!...I am short so there is no way I could ever do runway stuff and such but we will see where it goes! To be in a magazine would be awesome but I doubt that would happen, but you never know right lol

Hey, I said soft porn doesn't mean you do something naught but to show how awesome your body is. That's simple. Bathing suit shot is nearly soft porn term but more sound like innocent girl in next door. blah blah blah graphic designer blah blah adverist! blah blah yada yada yada girl blah boob boob boy penis da da da.

People won't notice that you're short in photo. It sure fool anyone. ;)
 
Alicia... I'm sure ya will do well with your modelling sessions and the pictures to take... hope everything will be done really good and in a wonderful way.. good luck and let us see the pics once ya are done... then we will comment eh?
