My audiologist told me away of using Zoom Control to give your bilateral hearing on a phone.
He was saying, not all phones have t coil anyway, some are just amplified etc.
Switching to Zoom Control and then putting your phone to whichever side is Zooming, will give you the same effect as Duo Phone expect you won't have t coil.
I still can't hear well on the phone for it work well but he says a lot of his other patients have liked using Zoom Control for the phone.
Thought I would share, incase you weren't aware!
(This might be useful who have the Phonak Spice V level hearing aids. The Phonak Quest hearing aids all have Duo Phone now)
