Really funny RR!!!!! I read doctors handwriting for over 20 years. As important as a prescription is, you would think they would be more careful. One of the biggest mistakes is them writing for ear drops with directions to put 1-2 drops into both eyes. NOT!!! All the little shorthand codes can get confusing. QD, BID, TID,QID, PRN, WF, OU, FOR EXAMLE
I tab PO QID WF PRN MEANS. TAKE 1 tablet by mouth 4 tines daily with food as needed. One little code off can change your dosage. Ask your pharmacist always!!!

Believe it or not, there is a prescription that you use for the eyes/ears, (same prescripton)....it happened to me once, and I quizzed the doctor about it. strange, but true!

YES your correct. You can put eye drops in ear, but never put ear drops in eyes,
I always tell my customers to take a quick second and ask the doctor what he wrote it for. Better safe then SORRY,
