I found those interesting link in website by coincidence when I search for right link to create a thread "Childbirth of the World"... Interesting link.. I thought I would share those link with you all and tell me what you think of this.

I received 100% paid from my employer to stay home 6 weeks before birth and 8 weeks after child birth and then received 350 EUR monthly mother care money from Social Security benefit insurances up to 3 years unpaid maternity leave.

What about you?

I was in the Navy when I became pregnant.

The Navy required me to take leave six weeks before my due date. (My daughter was born two weeks early, so it was really four weeks.) The most time I could take off after she was born was six weeks. So, I was off a total of 10 weeks.

I used two weeks of my paid annual (vacation) leave that I had saved up. The rest of the time was unpaid maternity leave.

So, no income for me for eight weeks.

All my medical and delivery expenses were free. I only had to pay $2.50 per day in the hospital for my daughter because she was a dependent.
