I am only deaf in my right ear so maybe I don't quite qualify, but I'm only 14 so I feel out of place with normal hearing people too.

And yes it counts! You're HOH, so that falls under the defintion of HOH. I know I've heard of unilateral HOH kids attending Deaf camps and learning ASL as a second language. About the only difference is that you probaly couldn't attend a school or an educational program for the Deaf. But yeah ....you belong! We used to have a handful of unilateral loss people who posted years ago.
